Up & Up Concrete is a family owned business founded by Rodney Upton in 2001. His vision as an entrepreneur was inspired by his Father, Walter Upton, who taught him the fine art and meticulous craft of concrete construction. From his Dad’s motto “Give a Man a fish and you feed him for a day..teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” He learned the value of ownership, the importance of economic empowerment and that generations work together to build a legacy.
Jasmine Upton, the daughter of Rodney Upton and CEO of the business represents the transition to the next generation of leadership. Leadership that will continue the mission to provide a standard of care and quality work that fosters lasting relationships with customers and provide an inclusive environment where employees share creative ideas, seek challenges and have an opportunity to grow.
